	The biggest lakes in the area, Jääsjärvi and Rautavesi with their crystal clear water are ideal for fly and lure fishing, spinning as well as trolling. The catch consists mainly of lake trout, perch, pike, burbot and bream. The Rautavesi/Jääsjärvi-combined area licence costs 5 €/day, 10 €/month and 30 €/year. Licences are available at Neste Jari Pekka and Gasthaus-Camping Koskenniemi. Jääsjärvi map The river Tainionvirta with its rapids The river Tainionvirta with its rapids offers great fishing for the whole family. It`s ideal for fly fishing. The catch consists of trout, grayling and rainbow trout. Fishing licence fees are 14 €/day, 34 €/week and 85 €/year. Licences can be purchased at Neste Jari Pekka, Gasthaus-Camping Koskenniemi and Shell Kuninkaan Portti. Remember to pay your fishing management fee (20 €/calendar year or 6 €/7 days) which is required if you are over 18 and under 65 years of age. No permit is required for angling and ice fishing. Tainionvirta map Kuningaskunnan Kala -fishing pond, located along highway 4, is open in the summertime.
